Upon the immediate impact from the steel ring steps changing the outcome of Chain's journey to the other side of the cell, Amp began to kick at the door. After a few strikes, he aimed higher at the top hinge, which still brought him no luck. Deciding to provide some damage to his opponent and possibly find something to use for leverage with getting the cage open, Amp dug under the ring and apprehended a sledgehammer.

Amp: "If this doesn't do it, I'm gonna be pissed!"

Ben Stonewall: "Looks like Amp has some evil thoughts running around in that little cranium..."

Stuntman Colt Calhoun: "But it looks like Chain played it smart and crawled under the ring! Whoah! Here he comes!"

After sliding out from a different side of the ring, Mister Marco took a dive at The Amplitudinous One and connected with a flipping clothesline... which gave him enough time to take the sledgehammer away and pry it against the hinges of the cell door.

Ben Stonewall: "Looks like this is it! Looks like Chain is going to be the one to get out of here!"

Stuntman Colt Calhoun: "Of course, he still has to make it to the top of this cage, and then to the ladder, and then up the ladder before he can do anything serious. That's a long trip considering Amp is getting up now, and the door isn't even opened."

Ben Stonewall: "Can't disagree with ya there! Amo with the spear! The door is open, and the sledge goes flying!"

Some fan caught them a souvineir right as the men's bodies impacted on the cold concrete outside of the padded area. A few jabs to the ribs implied that Amp had a lot more stamina left to him, and wasn't going to fade out any time soon. In fact, he made his way to the side of the cell wall and clinched his fists around the steel grating.

Stuntman Colt Calhoun: "For my amusement, Amp! Do it! Climb to the top, jump off, and land on Chain! Squish him like a bug!"

Ben Stonewall: "You know, only a few people have been idiotic enough to try something like that. Chain is one of them. If you go back and check some history, the match that got him signed to CWA as a National when Maverick was the commissioner involved a leap from the Maverick Tron!"

Stuntman Colt Calhoun: "Ugh. Chain is up now..."

Within an instant, he dashed towards the cage wall, leaped up, gripped his arms around Amp, and dragged him backwards. The elevated german suplex proved to be highly effective, with the setback being that is was that harmful to both men. The seemingly capsized men laid amongst the sweat, tears, and atmosphere of high adrenaline. It was on both of their minds -- the fact that they were so close yet so far from obtaining glory.

Ben Stonewall: "They're both back at the same level! This is heating up REALLY fast!"

Stuntman Colt Calhoun: "Okay... that and the plancha were the highlights of the nice so far. Seriously."

Ben Stonewall: "What a high angle german suplex on top of that! I'm surprised someone's neck didn't break!"
