Bar Room Brawl: Round 3

Chain Reaction -v- Amp

Buzz!

Buzz!

The doctor came running in to the room. It had been a while since Chain rang the buzzer, and she wanted to receive every iota of information that she could regarding Jay Marco. For the prior two nights, she had been jotting down information as it was told to her by 'Mr Incredible', but only getting a little bit at a time. She was even shocked to find that Jay's prediction on the Amp and Brute Bernard semi-final contest worked exactly to how he managed to foresee it.

Sure, it had already passed midnight (which was the time Jay had been waking up), but any chance to learn more about the situation had to be taken. As she took a seat right next to his bed, his eyes barely pried themselves open. She had her notebook in place. Her cup of coffee came soon thereafter via a request from a nurse.

Chain Reaction: "Amp."

Doctor Jennings: "No, this is Doctor Jennings, Jayson. Are you feeling okay tonight?"

Chain Reaction: "No. Amp will prove to be a worthy opponent for me."

Doctor Jennings: "Jay, you have not yet been cleared by our medical staff. You won't be able to make the final round!"

Chain Reaction: "Listen to me."

She tried her hardest. The whispers coming from Mr Marco were hard to distinguish, but she leaned in on the moments when his breath was getting softer. She took a sip of her coffee and inked down what Jayson had told her thus far.

Chain Reaction: "I will utilize my abilities to perform necessary actions. I will make it out of here before the match begins. Trust me."

Doctor Jennings: "Chain! I can't let you do that! It would be against the law for us to release you at the state you're in!"

Chain Reaction: "Shhh. I want to tell you what I see. My thoughts are that which the future holds. Please bare with me."

Doctor Jennings: "I will... and just to let you know, your friend Juan said he is willing to take over your match. He's back in Canada right now though."

Chain Reaction: "He has nothing to do with this match. It is between Amp and myself."

Doctor Jennings: "Okay... so what is it that you see, Mister Marco?"

The doc made herself more comfortable by crossing her legs and propping the notebook on her knee. She took one more small sip of the steaming dark roasted coffee, cut the desk lamp on, and patiently waited for what seemed to be a 'former' wrassler.
