Nami Toyotomi: "Jay! Wake up! You wake up now!"
I didn't move a muscle.
Nami Toyotomi: "Evewy one is heya to hewp you. Pwease wake up!"
My eyes barely opened. Apparently she had enough pull to gather all of the Insurance salesmen and women around me in an effort to wake me up.. but I didn't see it the way she did. All I saw was legions of demons. The devilish red glowing eyes of all of the workers burned a hole through me as they tried their hardest to awake me. At that point, I was highly confused. Demons helping me? This acid trip was way too real, yet unreal in the same token.
My mouth barely opened despite the clammy taste that sat upon my tongue. "I'm alive", I reassured the group of beasts. Trying to lift my arm to potentially get myself to my feet, I failed and had thoughts about giving up hope entirely. "I can't move!", I shouted.
Nami Toyotomi: "You can do it! Twy hawda!"
"There's nothing I can ****ing do!", I screamed. They had to know I was serious. Obscenities were hardly in my vocabulary since maturing and getting out of the whole feuder slash I'm better than you stage of my career.
Nami Toyotomi: "Jay Mawco! If you do not get up thewe is no way you wiww win de Baw Woom Bwawl!"
She stated the obvious. But for some reason, when it came from her, it picked my spirits up a little bit. Generally speaking, it wasn't the motivation that inspired me... it was more along the lines of my misconceived notion that I, personally, couldn't do it. "Alright. I can do it."
A grin spread across her face. Nami reached out to me and assisted me to rise to my feet -- after which, I stumbled out of the lobby and inched up the stairwell towards the action that was taking place... Perry Diamond was being decimated by the ever-so-popular Demonica Vile. Miss Toyotomi followed me.
"All I have to do", I uttered before I coughed. The bloody continued to flow fluently from my forehead, and I felt a certain sickness to my stomache that I hadn't felt since my days in CWA when it was a national. The whole alliance was hardcore. "-is put her through that window. That way she'll plummet to the concrete... and there's no possible way that she'll get up."
Nami Toyotomi: "Da sounds wike a pwan Jay. Just be cawefuw. I want you to be fwesh fow aftew de fight!"
It made me happy. Despite the fact that I had just come out of a rather shortened coma, and the fact that I could fall back in to it at any time should I take one more devistating blow to the head, I had no choice but to smile. Nami had been helping me a lot.
My time spent in the lobby actually helped... I was able to refresh my mind and body while Perry Diamond held off The Night Bringer. Nami's presence in the match made no sense to me at all, but helped never the less. Perry's contribution to the fight was turning out to be in my favor due to the small rest I had, thanks to Nami. Everything seemed to be falling in to place -- and my next step was through the door where the physical altercation was happening.
